About Us

The Oregon Vintage Machinery Museum Foundation is an organization dedicated to promoting the preservation of John Deere two-cylinder tractors and related machinery. Museum collections include John Deere tractors, implements, machinery and memorabilia.

In 1988 we began displaying our two-cylinder tractors and equipment and formed an organization of people with like interests. After receiving a large estate of John Deere literature, memorabilia, collectable toy tractors and implements, the dream of a John Deere Museum began. After a few years of fund raising and planning the dream of the museum became reality at Antique Powerland, just in time for the Great Oregon Steam-Up in July of 2013.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Oregon Vintage Machinery Museum is to preserve the history of John Deere tractors and related equipment with a focus on tractors and equipment made prior to 1960. Our goal is to educate the public about the history of John Deere in farming and industry.
